The department selected AWS as the Cloud Services Provider (CSP) and Vinsys provided managed services for the infrastructure environment and application running on AWS. Vinsys team supported the department's Mobile applications, Implemented the Mobile Threat Defense solution, and integrated mobile devices into the MobileThreat Defense solution on the AWS cloud. We configured the of Department's environments, ensuring that they remained consistent with security and federal compliance. When configuration drifts were detected, they were remediated to a consistent state or reported on for further investigation. Vulnerability scans were done, consistent with FedRAMP continuous monitoring requirements, to ensure that hardened images and other defense-in-depth configurations remained consistent with the last known state, and new security and compliance updates were applied.
The migration of MDM solutions provided a seamless transition to the AWS cloud for the Department, allowing them to realize significant cost savings, consistent security and compliance reporting, and improved application response times, which in turn led to increased case processing times and better services to those depending on them.
